Lisle is a village in DuPage County, Illinois, United States. It is part of the Chicago metropolitan area and the Illinois Technology and Research Corridor. It is also the headquarters of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Region III. In July 2007, the village was ranked #20 in Money magazine’s list of “100 Best Places to Live” and #17 on their 2009 list of the “Best Places for the Rich and Single”.
CA Technologies,Molex and Navistarare among the largest companies based in the village. Navistar recently relocated its headquarters to Lisle, occupying the large corporate buildings previously owned by Lucent Technologies. The corporate footprint of Lisle continues to expand as large companies seek an easily accessible, highly visible alternative to Chicago. The North American corporate headquarters of the market research firm Millward Brown, which is currently a subsidiary of WPP plc, is also located in Lisle.
Lisle Library District is located at 777 Front Street. The LLD contains a rich collection of materials, resources, technology and digital content. The library is continually evolving to meet the dynamic needs of patrons and serves as a place to research, study, experience cultural programming and gather/collaborate as a community. Four Lakes Ski Hill is a facility for skiers and snowboarders in the area.
Lisle’s school district is Lisle Community Unit School District 202; a large portion of the village lies in the Naperville Community Unit School District 203. Although not located within Lisle, the majority of high school students living in Lisle attend Naperville North High School.
